    California 35, San Diego State 7 In Three Things

    1. San Diego State scored first on a 29-yard Daniel Brunskill touchdown catch, and that was it. It was all Cal the rest of the way.

    2. Cal scored 35 unanswered points with Jared Goff throwing three straight touchdown passes to three different receivers, highlighted by a 75-yard scoring play to Trevor Davis.

    3. Daniel Lasco ran for a three-yard touchdown and Vic Enwere took off for a 17-yarder.

    California

    – Jared Goff completed 17-of-24 passes for 321 yards and three scores with a pick

    – Daniel Lasco ran 19 times for 123 yards and a touchdown, Trevor Davis caught three passes for 138 yards and a touchdown

    – The Aztecs kept making mistakes, They moved the ball, but they turned it over two times and committed 12 penalties.

    San Diego State

    – Donnel Pumphrey ran 21 times for 85 yards

    – Maxwell Smith completed 10-of-19 passes for 136 yards and a score with an interception. Christian Chapman completed 4-of-13 passes for 37 yards with an interception.

    – The Bears only converted 2-of-10 third down conversions. There weren’t any really meaningful ones.
