The San Diego Toreros will host the Marist Red Foxes in a 1:00 p.m. PT matchup on Saturday at Torero Stadium.

The Toreros are 2-1 on the young season and are looking to build off an impressive, 38-6 win over Valparaiso in their Pioneer League opener last week. Redshirt freshman QB Anthony Lawrence threw for 214 yards and 4 TDs in the victory.

San Diego will take its league best eight game Pioneer League win streak into Saturday’s game. The Toreros have also won 19 straight PFL games at home. Their last loss at Torero Stadium was a 21-20 defeat to Dayton on October 9th, 2010.

The Red Foxes look to bounce back from a tough, 20-16 loss at home to Jacksonville last week. QB Michael White was picked off four times by the Dolphins in Marist’s Pioneer League opener.

San Diego and Marist are meeting for the 11th time. The Toreros are undefeated in the series (10-0). However, the games have been close with five of the last six meetings being decided by seven points or less.
