The Tigers have been disappointing so far this season, and the question of who will start at quarterback is still up in the air. Kentucky is looking to beat Auburn for only the second time since 1966 — the only other win coming in 2009 at Auburn. Despite a raucous home crowd at Commonwealth, the Tigers will notch their first SEC win of the season.
Pick: Auburn
Spread: Auburn -2

Quarterback Dak Prescott and Mississippi State take a break from SEC play this weekend when they host the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Prescott has tossed 12 touchdown passes this season and has has yet to throw an interception. Tech QB Jeff Driskell will face the toughest defense yet this season — MSU has only allowed three touchdown passes. Mississippi State will pull away in the second half for a three score win.
Pick: Mississippi State

Both the Rebels and Tigers can put points up on the board in a hurry. Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly has thrown for 1,862 yards and 14 TDs so far this season. Justin Fuente will have Memphis ready to play, but the Tigers won’t be able to match up talent-wise with Ole Miss. Rebels run away for a two score win.
Pick: Ole Miss
Spread: Ole Miss -10.5

Date: Saturday, October 17
Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET

The Crimson Tide dominated the Aggies 59-0 last year in Tuscaloosa, but don’t expect a repeat of that. Aggies QB Kyle Allen will face a stout Alabama defensive front seven, but has multiple weapons to work with, including WR Christian Kirk, who has caught four TDs on the season. The Tide will respond with RB Derrick Henry, who has rushed for 665 yards and 10 TDs. Henry, behind superb line play, has a big day and the Tide continues to roll.
Pick: Alabama
Spread: Alabama -4

After a 2-4 start, the Gamecocks are without an identity, and now, a head coach. Steve Spurrier resigned from the position earlier this week. The Vandy defense has been solid, but the ‘Dores offense has a knack for turning the ball over. Despite the loss of Spurrier, Vandy just isn’t good enough to beat South Carolina.
Pick: South Carolina
Spread: South Carolina -3

Date: Saturday, October 17
Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Tiger Stadium
Shut down Leonard Fournette, and you shut down the LSU offense. Sounds easy, right? Well, it isn’t. A ferocious Gators defense will look to get the job done as they travel to Baton Rouge. The Florida offense will be without starting QB Will Grier, who is suspended for the rest of the year after testing positive for a banned substance. Treon Harris will step in and be good enough to lead the Gators to a surprising win over the Tigers in Death Valley.
Pick: Florida
Spread: LSU -7.5

Date: Saturday, October 17
Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Sanford Stadium
The Bulldogs have lost two games in a row, and are now without the services of stud RB Nick Chubb, who suffered a season-ending knee injury last week at Tennessee. True freshman QB Drew Lock is now the man under center for Missouri, as starting QB Maty Mauk was kicked off the team. Mizzou likes to suck the life out of teams, but won’t be able to slow down Georgia enough. Dawgs by two touchdowns.
Pick: Georgia
Spread: Georgia -16
