For SEC football fans, the wait is finally over. On Thursday, September 3 the 2015 season gets underway in a big way. South Carolina and North Carolina face off at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte for the first FBS game of the season.
Steve Spurrier and the Gamecocks are looking to put last season far in the rearview mirror with a strong opening night performance.
Thursday night presents an SEC-twofer, with the Vanderbilt Commodores welcoming the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers to Nashville. This one could go either way.
The action cranks up another notch for the first Saturday of SEC football play. All eyes will be on the showdown between Alabama and Wisconsin. The Crimson Tide have been picked to walk out of Dallas with another marquee, out-of-conference win to start the season.
Earlier in the day, the Auburn Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies will each try to kickstart a big season with games against the Louisville Cardinals and Arizona State Sun Devils, respectively.
