Ed Orgeron has a chance this week to follow in the footsteps of Les Miles by beating Nick Saban his very first try when the LSU Tigers meet the rolling Crimson Tide in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers have undoubtedly played their best football against Orgeron, and a healthy Leonard Fournette gives LSU its best chance in years to end the losing streak against Saban and Co. It’ll be a tough ask, however, as the Crimson tide haven’t lost an SEC road game since Ole Miss beat them in Oxford in October, 2014.

Elsewhere, Auburn will look to continue its dominant run when it welcomes Vanderbilt to The Plains. The Tigers have won five straight and control their destiny in the SEC West. Guz Malzahn’s squad should be heavily favored in the three remaining games prior to the Iron Bowl, which could very well determine who out of the West travels to Atlanta for the conference title game.
