SEC football predictions and schedule for Week 2 of the 2016 season. The weekend slate includes Tennessee playing Virginia Tech at Bristol Motor Speedway, and Florida trying to extend its winning streak to 30 against Kentucky.

The SEC had an up-and-down opening weekend to the season. Alabama showed they are still the top dog in college football, while LSU was upset in Lambeau Field against Wisconsin. This week, Tennessee will take on ACC member Virginia Tech in front of what’s expected to be the largest crowd to ever watch a college football game.

Florida welcomes Kentucky to The Swamp for the CBS game of the week.

South Carolina will try to make it 2-0 as the Gamecocks take on Mississippi State, who was shocked by South Alabama last week.

Arkansas has a big non-conference matchup in Fort Worth against TCU.

The remainder of the SEC schedule is very light.
