SEC football predictions and schedule for Week 3 of the 2016 season. Saturday’s slate is headlined by a top-20 showdown between Alabama and Ole Miss.

After stumbling out of the gates in Week 1, the SEC bounced back in Week 2 of the season and showed why it’s college football’s best conference. Arkansas shocked TCU on the road, and Tennessee pounded Virginia Tech in the weekend’s marquee game, the Battle at Bristol.

Only two teams failed to record a win – Kentucky (against Florida) and South Carolina (against Mississippi State).

This week, several more teams step into conference play, including Alabama traveling to Oxford to face an Ole Miss team that’s taken two in a row against the Crimson Tide. Nick Saban has surely been waiting for his chance at revenge.

Three other conference matchups are on the docket for Week 3 – Mississippi State at LSU, Texas A&M at Auburn, and Georgia at Missouri.
