SEC football predictions and schedule for Week 7 of the 2016 season. The conference slate features two games between ranked opponents – No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 9 Tennessee and No. 12 Ole Miss vs. No. 22 Arkansas.

Tennessee’s run as SEC darling came crashing down a bit last week after another comeback attempt fell short, losing in double overtime to Texas A&M.

The Vols will have their chance at redemption against top-ranked Alabama, as the Crimson Tide roll into Neyland Stadium looking to extend their wining streak over the Vols. Alabama has won nine straight games in the “Third Saturday in October” rivalry. The matchup is one of two top-10 games this week, the other being Ohio State vs. Wisconsin.

LSU and Florida will resume play this week after their Week 6 game was postponed due to the threat of Hurricane Matthew. The Gators will welcome SEC East foe Missouri into The Swamp, while LSU will host non-conference opponent Southern Miss.

In the SEC’s second ranked matchup, Arkansas will look to rebound from its loss to Alabama when the Razorbacks welcome Ole Miss. The Rebels are coming off a bye.

Auburn, Kentucky, South Carolina and Texas A&M are on byes this week.
