SEC football rankings entering Week 3 of the 2016 season. Alabama remains on top after handling Western Kentucky at home.

Alabama coach Nick Saban said he was embarrassed after the Crimson Tide beat Western Kentucky, a game that featured Saban yelling at Lane Kiffin on the sideline. A win is a win, though, and Alabama still sits atop our SEC rankings.

Plenty of the SEC teams in action picked up wins, too, including Arkansas’ stunning double-overtime victory at TCU. Georgia didn’t look very impressive, though, and LSU had to play without Leonard Fournette.

Here’s a look at how we see the SEC heading into Week 3.

    Week 3 SEC Football Rankings

    14. Kentucky

Make that 30 straight losses to Florida.

    13. Vanderbilt

Many believed Middle Tennessee would provide a tough challenge, but Vandy came away with a 23-point win.

    12. Missouri

Put 61 points on Eastern Michigan after finishing with only 11 in last week’s loss to West Virginia.

    11. South Carolina

Tough loss to Mississippi State after the thrilling win over Vanderbilt to open the season.

    10. Mississippi State

The Bulldogs need that win after being shocked by South Alabama.

    9. Auburn

Had little problem with Arkansas State after giving Clemson all it could handle last week.

    8. Arkansas

First the Razorbacks block a field goal that would’ve given TCU the win at the end of regulation. Then they score a touchdown in each overtime to pull out a stunning victory over the Horned Frogs.

    7. LSU

The Tigers were able to get past Jacksonville State without Fournette, but how long will he be out?.

    6. Florida

Left no doubt while continuing its domination of Kentucky.

    5. Ole Miss

Won its layup game with Wofford after blowing that lead against Florida State.

    4. Tennessee

Big comeback victory over Virginia Tech after falling behind by 14 after the first quarter.

    3. Georgia

The Bulldogs needed to get a couple first downs to win 26-24 over Nicholls, which entered as a 55-point underdog.

    2. Texas A&M

The 67-0 win over Prairie View A&M was much more comfortable than the double-overtime victory over UCLA last week.

    1. Alabama

Nick Saban can feel embarrassed all he wants. His team is still the best in the country.
