It has been more than a month since the last college football game took place, but with February half over and March just around the corner, fans are anxiously awaiting the start of spring practice.
For diehard SEC fans, watching their team’s and its opponents’ spring game will be simple, as the combination of ESPN and SEC Network will broadcast all 13 exhibitions (Vanderbilt is not holding one), starting Saturday, April 1 at South Carolina and ending Saturday, April 29 in Fayetteville for Arkansas’ Red-White Spring Game.
Reigning conference champion Alabama will hold its scrimmage on Saturday, April 22, while SEC East division champion Florida will have a Friday night affair in The Swamp on April 7. Jarrett Stidham, who many predict will be the starting quarterback for Auburn in 2017, will have his first chance to impress Tigers fans on Saturday, April 8 in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
