SEC football standings for Week 7 of the season. Alabama and Texas A&M continued their perfect play last week.

After weeks of thrilling comebacks, the Tennessee Volunteers weren’t able to reproduce their past magic, falling short against Texas A&M. The Aggies jumped out to a big lead, the Vols climbed back to force overtime, but didn’t have enough in double overtime. With the win, Texas A&M improved to 4-0 in conference play. Tennessee dropped to 2-1 and in a tie with Florida, who didn’t play because of Hurricane Matthew. The Vols hold the tiebreaker over the Gators.

The SEC, Florida and LSU are reportedly working on rescheduling the cross-divisional game, however there’s no guarantee it will be played. The Gators and Tigers don’t have a common bye week, so it would multiple teams being flexible enough to shuffle their schedules around and/or the SEC (or its programs) ponying up significant money for any cancellations.

Alabama improved to 3-0 with a relatively easy road win over Arkansas. The Crimson Tide and Aggies are the only teams with unblemished records.

Arkansas, Missouri and Vanderbilt have yet to notch an SEC win, going 0-2, 0-2 and 0-3, respectively.
