    1. Austin Jones hit a 25-yard field goal as time ran out to give Temple the win to cap a wild finish. UMass took a 23-20 lead with just over a minute to play on a 16-yard Jamal Wilson catch, but the extra point was blocked and taken for a two-point conversion. The Owls went 50 yards in ten plays for the game-winning field goal.

    2. Blake Frohnapfel threw three touchdown passes for UMass including two to Rodney Mills from 48 and five yards out.

    3. Temple started out the scoring going up 14-0 on a 23-yard Adonis Jennings catch and a 14-yard Jahad Thomas run.
