Texas A&M 56, Ball State 23 In Three Things

1. Texas A&M unloaded on Ball State with a 49 point first half helped by three Kyle Allen touchdown passes and a 40-yard interception return for a score from De’Vante Harris.

2. Ball State got into a little bit of a groove with 13 straight points in the second half, but it was spitball at a battleship. A&M only managed a fumble recovery for a score the rest of the way.

3. Morgan Hagee hit three field goals for the Cardinals and only got into the end zone on a six-yard Darian Green run.

Texas A&M

– Kyle Allen was fantastic completing 10-of-13 passes for 126 yards and three scores, but Kyler Murray came in and threw his first touchdown pass, finding Christian Kirk for a ten-yard score late in the first half.

– Kwame Etwi led the Aggies with 116 yards on 12 carries. The team ran for 270 yards averaging 5.5.yards per carry

– The Aggies moved the ball at will early on, finishing with 503 yards, running for 270 and throwing for 233

Ball State

– Riley Neal completed 11-of-19 passes for 116 yards. Jack Milas only hit one of eight throws for five yards with an interception

– Darian Green led the team with 97 rushing yards and a score on 11 carries

– Ball State only converted 2-of-13 third down chances
