We’re only two months into the new year and the Internet has already discovered the newest meme sensation of 2016.

Damn Daniel has swiftly gone viral and is circulating around the internet like wildfire. If for some miraculous chance you haven’t seen it yet, here’s a look at the video that’s congesting everyone’s news feeds.

For some background, a Riverside Polytechnic High School student named Josh posted this video of his friend, Daniel, back on February 15th.

The original tweet from Josh has since been liked 350,000 times and retweeted 270,000 times. And that’s only from Josh’s personal account.

The video has caused the internet to have a complete and utter meltdown, because of course it has. Everyone is falling in love with Daniel and his white Vans. Remixes to the original are popping up everywhere, which got us thinking, who in college basketball makes us say Damn Daniel more than anyone else?

Like it was perfectly scripted in the alternate viral universe (where all viral videos are conceived and injected into our universe — at least that’s what I tell myself) for him, Texas A&M guard Danuel House has us saying Damn Daniel everytime he brings down the house – all pun intended – with his thunderous dunks.
