Four-star center Theo John tweeted out an image of the final six schools in the running for his commitment. His list has representation from the Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, and Pac-12.

In alphabetical order, John’s top six schools include Cal, Illinois, Oklahoma, Marquette, Minnesota and Purdue.

At this point, John has taken two unofficial visits to Wisconsin, an unofficial visit to Minnesota, two official vists to Oklahoma and an official visit to Purdue.

John will provide a team with a physical presence underneath the basket. The 6-foot-9, 215-pound center makes a big difference on the defensive end with his broad shoulders and high motor. He averaged 5.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game with the EYBL circuit this past spring and summer.

Originally, John wanted to make his decision before July, but a flurry of new offers have pushed back his announcement date.
