    1. For the second straight game the Stanford offense wasn’t working, and then it all clicked starting with a flea flicker leading to a 53-yard pass to Michael Rector. The Cardinal scored the first 31 points of the game.

    2. Kevin Hogan threw three touchdown passes highlighted by a 93-yard play to Bryce Love in the fourth. Barry Sanders ran for a 20-yard score.

    3. UCF finally got on the board with a 36-yard Tre’Quan Smith touchdown catch with just over a minute to play.

    Stanford

    – Kevin Hogan completed 17-of-29 passes for 341 yards and three scores

    – Bryce Love caught two passes for 135 yards and a score. Michael Rector caught four passes for 86 yards and a touchdown

    – Stanford was tagged for 12 penalties for 137 yards

    UCF

    – The three UCF quarterbacks combined to go 14-of-36 for 151 yards and a score with a pick

    – Taj McGowan ran 20 times for 67 yards

    – UCF was outgained 491 yards to 181 and ran for 30 net yards
