    Why Old Dominion Will Win

The Monarchs have a little more offensive pop than UTSA, which inexplicably became North Texas’ first victim of 2015 last Saturday. Neither team is scoring a ton, but ODU has the game’s top offensive weapon, RB Ray Lawry, and the Roadrunners allowed 267 rushing yards last week.

    Why UTSA Will Win

Last weekend notwithstanding, the Roadrunners have the slightly better D, led by linemen Kevin Strong and Jason Neill. Old Dominion is yielding 40 points a game to FBS opponents, which ought to help free up UTSA QB Dalton Sturm and RB Jarveon Williams.

    What’s Going To Happen?

Neither team is playing for much, though, Old Dominion is still in the bowl eligibility hunt. Sturm will exploit the Monarch defense with his arm and his feet, leading the Roadrunners to a rare close win.
