Does NCAA Need to Limit Referee Schedules?

Referee John Higgins has officiated 14 games in the last 17 days. Is that a problem long term for the game of college basketball? We use that as a jumping-off point on Inside College Hoops with Jeff Goodman and Doug Gottlieb.
