Week 7 Roundup: Pac-12

Oct. 11 USC 28, at Arizona 26 
And You Care Because … Arizona kicker Casey Skowron missed two field goals including a 36-yard field goal in the final seconds – after hitting the first attempt that was called back after USC called a timeout to freeze him. It ruined a wild comeback attempt, with Jared Baker running for a six-yard score, catching a 41-yard touchdown pass and running for a one-yard score, but the two point conversion try to tie the score failed. The Wildcats recovered the onside kick and got in position for the win, but Skowron went wide right. Javorius Allen came up with a huge day for the Trojans, ripping off three touchdown runs with a 34 and 48-yarder before coming up with a one-yard score to put the team up for good. Skowron hit two first quarter field goals, but the misses started coming, including at the end of the first half. 
What Else? USC RB Javorius Allen ran 26 times for 205 yards and three touchdowns 
– Arizona QB Anu Solomon completed 43-of-72 passes for 395 yards and a touchdown 
– Penalties: USC 13 for 103 yards – Arizona 4 for 35 yards

Oct. 11 Oregon 42, at UCLA 30 
And You Care Because … Oregon bounced back from the Arizona loss in a big way, starting out with a 21-3 lead with Marcus Mariota running for a 13-yard score and finding Thomas Tyner and Pharoah Brown for touchdowns. UCLA made it interesting late in the first half with Brett Hundley running for a 16-yard score with three seconds remaining, but it was all Oregon to start the second half with Mariota taking off for a 23-yard score and Royce Freeman running for two short touchdowns. UCLA got some late scores, with Jordan Payton scoring twice as part of a run of 20 unanswered points, but the Ducks were able to close out late. 
What Else? Total yards: UCLA 553 – Oregon 468 
– Oregon QB Marcus Mariota completed 17-of-27 passes for 210 yards and two scores, and ran seven times for 75 yards and two touchdowns 
– UCLA QB Brett Hundley completed 26-of-37 passes for 216 yards and two touchdowns with an interception, and ran 22 times for 89 yards and a touchdown. Paul Perkins ran 21 times for 187 yards 
– Oregon RB Royce Freeman ran 18 times for 121 yards and two touchdowns

Oct. 10 at Stanford 34, Washington State 17 
And You Care Because … Kevin Hogan threw three touchdowns passes and Remound Wright and Barry Sanders paced the ground game as Stanford got up early but had to fight to put the Cougars away. Hogan found tight end Eric Cotton for a 39-yard score, and hit Greg Taboada for touchdown passes from three and four yards away for a 24-10 lead going into the fourth. Washington State pulled close with a three-yard River Cracraft touchdown catch, but the Cardinal scored ten unanswered points with Wright closing things out with a six-yard score. 
What Else? Stanford QB Kevin Hogan completed 23-of-35 passes for 284 yards and three scores 
– Washington State QB Connor Halliday completed 44-of-71 passes for 303 yards and two scores with a pick. River Cracraft caught 15 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown 
– Stanford outgained Wazzu 193 yards to -38 on the ground 
– Penalties; Washington State 10 for 74 yards – Stanford 9 for 80 yards

Oct. 11 Washington 31, at California 7 
And You Care Because … Washington wiped out Cal early with a 28-0 first half lead starting out with a stop of the Bear offense finishing with a 100-yard fumble return for a score from Shaq Thompson and getting three Cyler Miles touchdown passes including an 86-yarder to John Ross in the final minutes of the half. Cal turned the ball over three times and only managed a three-yard Daniel Lasco touchdown run late in the third. Washington put it well out of reach on a 42-yard Cameron Van Winkle field goal. 
What Else? Washington QB Cyler Miles completed 22-of-29 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns 
– Cal QB Jared Goff completed 35-of-51 passes for 304 yards 
– Average yards per carry: Washington 2.9 – Cal 1.9 
– Washington WR Jaydon Mickens caught ten passes for 69 yards, John Ross caught four passes for 118 yards and a touchdown
