Five-Star Center Wendell Carter Reveals Top Four Schools

Five-star center Wendell Carter has revealed his top four schools. He’s the No. 4 overall prospect and No. 3 center in the 2017 class.

Just four schools remain for one of the nation’s top prospects.

Wendell Carter, a five-star center out of the Pace Academy in Atlanta, took to Twitter on Tuesday night and announced that the final four schools in the running for his services are Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Harvard.

At this point, Carter has taken an unofficial visit to Duke and has also received a coach’s visit from Mike Krzyzewski. Coaches from Harvard and Georgia Tech have visited him as well. He plans on taking an official visit to Duke and attending the Countdown to Craziness event on October 22.

Carter stands at 6-foot-10 and 245 pounds, and is a beast in the paint. His strong frame and positioning allow him to box out and out-hustle the competition on the boards.

He’s also an extremely efficient scorer underneath the basket, capable of drilling hook shots and using his soft touch to score around the rim. Though his range is still a work in progress, Carter is currently developing a quality mid-range jumper.

Along with his final four schools, Carter also had offers from the likes of Arizona, Auburn, Cal, Florida, Florida State, Kansas State, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas A&M, UConn, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.

Carter is the No. 4 overall prospect and No. 3 center in the 2017 class.
