Five-star center Wendell Carter has released his list of top eight schools.

One of the nation’s top basketball prospects trimmed his list of schools down to eight on Monday.

Wendell Carter, a 5-star center and the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2017 class, took to social media to reveal which programs made the cut to land his services.

In alphabetical order, Carter’s list includes Arizona, Cal, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Kentucky and North Carolina.

Standing at 6-foot-10 and 240 pounds, Carter has a great frame and anchors the defense in the post. He has a soft touch around the rim and can also snag rebounds at an exceptional rate.

Offensively, he has a strong hook shot and is developing a solid mid-range jumper. His impressive frame, athletic abilities and rebounding prowess make him an absolute monster in the paint.

At this point, Carter has only taken one unofficial visit – to Duke – but has received numerous coaching visits from Duke’s Jeff Capel and Mike Krzyzewski, Georgia’s Mark Fox, Kentucky assistant Tony Barbee and North Carolina’s Roy Williams.
