    Why Western Kentucky Will Win

When the Hilltoppers aren’t facing SEC opponents, like LSU last Saturday, they’re averaging almost 50 points per game behind QB Brandon Doughty and his cadre of experienced playmakers. Old Dominion, which yields 34 points per and was just dissected by FIU QB Alex McGough, is in no position to slow down Western Kentucky.

    Why Old Dominion Will Win

While the Monarchs lack WKU’s scoring punch, they can move the chains with an athletic backfield of QB David Washington and RB Ray Lawry. Washington has helped ignite the attack since moving from receiver two weeks ago, and league-leading Lawry can play keep-away with the Hilltopper offense.

    What’s Going To Happen?

Although a road stumble is always possible when a team is cruising, Western Kentucky harbors far too much firepower to be picked off by Old Dominion. Doughty will remain prolific at the expense of the Monarch D, once again spreading the ball around to his bevy of weapons.
