Western Michigan vs. Eastern Michigan Prediction Roundtable – What’s Going To Happen

Western Michigan vs. Eastern Michigan prediction roundtable with the Campus Insiders staff. Breaking down what will happen in Saturday’s battle between the Broncos and Eagles.

Row the Boat, Broncos. Western Michigan might not have the toughest of schedules, and its two Big Ten victories came against two teams in the lower tier of the conference, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have plenty of talent. Corey Davis just might be a first-round pick, and Zach Terrell is going to get some NFL looks, too, considering he has 46 touchdowns over his last 20 games and is completing 70 percent of his passes this season. Coach P.J. Fleck adds another victory to his resume, which can be updated with the win by the end of the first quarter.

Let’s start a slow clap for Mr. Zach Terrell. Bravo, sir, bravo. I mean, he’s got 17 touchdown passes without a single interception. And guess what, by the time Western Michigan beats Eastern Michigan, it’ll be 20 touchdowns to zero picks. There’s no contest to be had here. The Broncos got it locked up.

Dave Miller

Western Michigan is averaging 6.6 yards per play, good for No. 20 in the FBS. Zach Terrell and Corey Davis continue to be on a tear, as they may be the most unheralded QB-WR combo in the country. Jarvion Franklin is second in the MAC in rushing, and the Keion Adams-led defense is one of the best in the MAC as well. That Boat will continue to Row, as the Broncos remain unbeaten and in play for a New Year’s Six slot.

Brian Stultz

I just looked at the rest of Western Michigan’s schedule and had to sniff some smelling salts to wake myself up. If the Broncos don’t go undefeated, it will take a massive undoing by them. Also, if Waldo Stadium isn’t sold out for the rest of the home games, I will be disappointed. This game will be over by halftime. WEST SIDE!
