South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp took a joking shot at Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney, saying the coach’s wife was hitting on him.

Will Muschamp and Dabo Swinney have yet to meet on the field for Palmetto State bragging rights, but Muschamp, who was hired in December as South Carolina head coach, has already scored one point on the Clemson coach.

At a Coaches for Charity event on Tuesday, the two coaches ran into each other, but not before Swinney’s wife, Kathleen, spoke with Muschamp. A few seconds later, Coach Boom delivered the bad news to Swinney.

“Your wife was hitting on me,” he said.

Swinney seemed to take it in stride, responding, “She’s a flirt.”

While Muschamp was, we think, kidding, that got me pondering which of the two head coaches would females find more appealing. I took a survey of three random women in our office and this is what they had to say about each.
