My dad sent me a text message yesterday morning saying that we will be taking a family picture at Christmas, therefore I shouldn’t get my hair buzzed right before flying to their place in Kentucky for the holidays. Apparently he doesn’t want too much glare on the camera. Thanks for the tip, Dad.

In college football news, Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin’s name has popped up for yet another job, LSU running back Leonard Fournette announced he will enter the NFL Draft after this season, and the Heisman finalists were announced with five players being invited to New York. Here are some other newsworthy notes in the latest college football news roundup.

Hurd Announces Decision – It was a surprise move when former Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd left the Volunteers program mid-season, and it seems that he is leaning toward entering the NFL Draft instead of playing at another college. Hurd rushed for 2,638 yards during his time in Knoxville.

He’s (Maybe) Coming Back – USC wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has said that he is considering coming back next season, which would be a huge boost for a Trojans team that caught fire near the end of the season. Smith-Schuster caught 63 passes for 781 yards and nine touchdowns this season.

Here Comes The Sun (Devil) – Former Alabama quarterback Blake Barnett has found a new home, and that is in Tempe as an Arizona State Sun Devil. Barnett competed for the starting job for the Crimson Tide this season before freshman Jalen Hurts eventually won the job and never looked back.

Army Pulling It Off – Have you seen these bad boys that Army will be wearing for its annual rivalry game against Navy this weekend? If not, you have to take a peek. They are quite awesome, and serve as a tribute to the 82nd Airborne from World War II. Our #FashionInsider Kurt Schwerman is still drooling over these beauties.
